Mr. Dahl has been employed as an attorney since 1979 and recently became Of Counsel to the Keleher firm. Prior to joining the Keleher firm, he was employed for 27 years at the firm of Lamb, Metzgar, Lines & Dahl P.A. where he served as President for 15 years. He also worked as a solo practitioner for a short period of time. He has significant experience in civil litigation, arbitration, regulatory and mediation proceedings. Mr. Dahl represents clients at all judicial levels as well as in administrative and arbitration proceedings. His experience includes employment law matters, civil rights prosecution and defense, Federal Fair Housing litigation, commercial litigation, and insurance defense matters. Representative of the clients he has represented are State Farm Insurance, the Marriott Corporation, Cigna Insurance, Horizon Pharmacies, and James Hamilton Construction Company (heavy construction).
Mr. Dahl has also been involved in personal injury litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, including wrongful death suits arising out of construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents and professional negligence. He has tried over 75 jury trials to completion in his career. Additionally, Mr. Dahl has lectured for the New Mexico State Bar, National Business Institutes, Sterling Education Services, the Council on Education, the Institute for Paralegal Education, and the New Mexico Legal Assistants Association on such diverse areas as Trial Practice, Evidence, Arbitration, Personal Injury and Employment law. Mr. Dahl served as the Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the N.M. State Bar in 2000-2001. He also taught business law at the University of Phoenix (Albuquerque) for ten years where he was twice named Outstanding Faculty Member.
