An esteemed shareholder of the firm, Arthur O. Beach, and his wife, Alex, were vacationing passengers on the ill-fated Costa Concordia when it went down off the coast of Tuscany on January 13, 2012. What they saw and heard during the initial moments of the disaster, their harrowing rescue and flight home to the United States were detailed in first-person interviews, and broadcast on CNN, World News Tonight, Nightline, Good Morning America, Fox News, Entertainment Tonight, Anderson Cooper and other international news media.

Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession, has named two Keleher & McLeod attorneys as 2012 Albuquerque Best Lawyer in their respective fields of expertise.
Arthur O. Beach received the Best Lawyer award in Product Liability Litigation; W. Spencer Reid the Best Lawyer designation in Litigation - Trusts and Estates.
After more than a quarter of a century in publication, Best Lawyers designates "Lawyers of the Year" in high-profile legal specialties in large legal communities. Only a single attorney in each specialty in each community is honored as the "Lawyer of the Year." Best Lawyers compiles its list of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. The current 18th edition of The Best Lawyers in America (2012) is based on more than 3.9 million detailed evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers. The lawyers honored as "Lawyers of the Year" have received particularly high ratings in the publication's surveys by earning a high level of respect among their peers for their abilities, professionalism and integrity.
Steven Naifeh, President of Best Lawyers, says, "We continue to believe – as we have for more than 25 years – that recognition by one's peers is the most meaningful form of praise in the legal profession. We would like to congratulate Arthur O. Beach and W. Spencer Reid on being selected as 'Albuquerque Best Lawyers' for 2012."
